As per the stay at home orders:
Community sport
No community sport (whether training or a match) in Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour should proceed.”

Macarthur Football Association Inc.

7.7.21

Regrettably, given the ongoing risk of community transmission and following updated health advice, the current stay at home orders and restrictions have been extended until 11:59pm on Friday, 16 July.

The same restrictions currently in place across both Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour and regional NSW will remain in place until this time.

There will be no community football activities until informed otherwise, which includes organised training sessions.

The MFA will provide a further update regarding local competition early next week, following briefings with key stakeholders.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation - we are as disappointed as all of you.

6.7.21

Dear Football Family,

We hope this message finds you all safe and well.

The MFA discussed its Return to Play Plan with the Members during an online meeting last night. The key points of note:

1. We will continue to follow the Public Health Order and instructions of the NSW Government. We understand whether the lockdown will be extended or not will be confirmed tomorrow (7/7).

2. As it stands, we plan to resume the 2021 season on Saturday morning (10 July). Please refer to your Competition Fixture for details.

3. Matches scheduled for Friday, 9 July have been moved to Sunday, 11 July ((O35 and O45 fixtures).

4. Matches washed-out prior to the lockdown are being re-scheduled in the most part. These will be mid-week matches.

5. Matches lost during the lockdown will not be rescheduled, with the exception of Ottimo HouseM-League matches. 189 matches were impacted and a 0-0 result recorded.

6. U12 Girls and U16 Boys Leagues are now being split and a new draw should be available shortly.

7. One round of AAW4, which was scheduled midweek during lockdown, will be rescheduled, to ensure no more than 2 rounds are lost.

8. If lockdown is extended, we are considering the options of extending season and/or reducing the Finals Series, as we did in 2020.

For now, we kindly ask that the community continue to respect and abide by the Public Health Order. While exercise is encourage, please avoid exercising in big groups (eg; 10 or more) and do not participate in organised training sessions this week.

We do hope to see teams on the park this weekend!

The MFA will continue to keep the Football Family informed during the lockdown period.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Message from the President:

Check in 28.7.21

Just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing during this lockdown.

Since we cant be together and on the field it is great to be able to watch the Matildas and Olyroos on their olympic journey.

We would love to see how you are celebrating the teams and keeping your soccer skills up. Share your photos or videos with us on Facebook.

As soon as we know any information about the club jackets and shirts we will let everyone know. At this stage they are still on the docks waiting to clear customs.

ALL Council Grounds are closed during lock down.

Please ensure you are all following the stay at home orders.

Once we get further information from Soccer NSW we will be in touch.

Round 10 19.6.21

What a cold, wet and windy day. Many of teams still had a wonderful day despite the weather. It is great to see so our players showing good sportsmanship. I would also like to thanks Under 9 Black and the extra players who join in on a extra friendly match today with one of our teams.

We also hosted this week Ingleburn's games due to the wet weather and their field's being out of action. It was nice to see how appreciation from the players, club and spectators towards us hosting the games.

Thank you to those teams who stepped up and stayed longer when teams did not show.

Reminder to please check web site each week to see if your team is on duty.

Round 9 - 5.6.21

Another round well played by our teams.

It is wonderful to get feed back from other clubs that they love coming to play GREGORY HIILLS FC as we are a fair and friendly club. WELL DONE to all our players, and club members for showing such great sportsmanship

Our Under 6 Girls teams had the opportunity to take to the field at the BULLS game on Friday night. It was lovely to see our club represented. The girls were all very excited.

We hope everyone has a great long weekend next weekend keep safe and rest up for the next round on the 19th of June 2021.

Round 8 - 29/30.5.21

What a week of soccer we have had this week. First having 40 of our players and parents march at the Bulls game on Thursday night. Then to have games on both Saturday and Sunday this week.

Was another very cold and windy Saturday but many of our teams still came away with wins.

Sunday we had our O35s play and our U13 play their washed out game from round five. Both coming away with wins.

We also held four state cup games this weekend.

A massive shout out goes to the two Mothers from U13 team who not only saw we needed help in the canteen on Sunday but stayed for 2 hours to support the committee . THANK -YOU, your help was greatly appreciated.

Round 7-  22.5.21

First off I would like to thank all those teams that turned up for their team duties this weekend. Without your support the club would not be able to run.

Teams seem to enjoy the warm sun today. It was only a short day at home with only a few teams playing at home.

The players and families seem to be enjoying themselves. It is not always about winning but having fun and getting out to play the great game of soccer.

Reminder all players are to only wear their game shirt ONLY at the game NO other time.

All players should now have club shorts and socks. If you don't have them you will need to visit the club canteen before your game, next Saturday from 9am, if you don't have club shorts or socks you will not be able to play your game.

Keep sending in your game and training photos for us to share.

Round 6 - 15.5.21

We sure got the four seasons in one day this week. Was great to see our teams back on the field after a very wet last week. From all reports and watching many of our teams play this week at home our teams are going great. Few of our teams have come away this week with first wins. It's not all about winning its about getting out there and enjoying the sport of soccer and working as a team.

A massive shout of to the many players who helped out one of our teams this week, by playing a double game. We are so thankful we can all work together.

Thank- you to all the helpers this weekend who came and helped out at the canteen and BBQ. All the profits we make here goes towards the end of year presentation. If we don't have helpers the canteen will have to close and presentation day will be effected at end of year. Make sure you check on our website each week to see which team are on rostered duties.

Round 5 8/9.5.21

Round five wasn't as busy as it was planned with many of our teams games washed out.

Our  O35 came away with another win for the season.

A very happy mothers day to all our mothers in the GHFC Community.

Round 4 1.5.21

Another great day had by all.

Thank you to all the teams that did turn up and helped out on their duties.

Once again it was great to see all our players enjoy themselves playing the game of Soccer.

It's great to see our players improve week to week with their ball skills, team work and sportsmanship.

This week we celebrate woman in football. We as a club have 5 all girls teams as well as girls in some of our mixed teams. Not to forget the wonderful Woman we have who are coaches, mangers and on the committee. I am looking forward to next season when we will have all age woman's teams.

Round 3 24th APRIL 2021

Wow what a day.

The day started with our offical Grand opening. A HUGE thank you to all those players, families and friends who game down to be part of this special celebration. I special thank you to the Mayor of Camden, MFA, MacArthur Bulls, MacArthur Sports radio and all our sponsors who attended.

The day would not have been so successful with our the support from the committee and the parents of the teams that came and helped out. Thank you

Being a huge day with most of teams at home, it was a pleasure to see the teams having a great time. A special mention to Under 9 White's parents who got in on the action and played a game with their children, due to other team no show. I hope the parents are able move today.

Also thank you to the great sportsmanship to the players who played an extra game to allow our Under 7 Black to have a game, when the other team was a no show.

Round Two 16/17th April 2021

What another wonderful round we have had this weekend. Many of our teams coming away with some wonderful wins. It is so great to see so many of our players enjoying and growing while playing Soccer. I had the opportunity today to referee one of the under 9 games. It was great to be able to help both teams on the field.

I would like to thank those teams and others who helped out today on the canteen and BBQ, with out your support and help the canteen and bbq would not be able to run. Thank - You.

Reminder next weekend we are having our grand opening. We ask that all players and families come to the offical opening at 9am regardless of when you are playing in your uniform ( training shirt or game shirt with shorts and socks on).

Round One 9/10th April 2021

Wow what a wonderful start to the 2021 season we have had. Starting off with a win with our over 35’s. After talking to some of them today they sure are feeling every bit of that win. 😉

It was wonderful to see all the family’s, friends and players out playing this weekend.

A massive thank you to all those who helped today.

A shout out to Gregory Hills FC first three offical referees who took to the field today for the first time you all did a wonderful job.
