Game Leaders are leaving venues in tears and with no desire to ever pick up a whistle again. This simply goes against everything we stand for as a code and as a community.Following the monthly Referees Meeting on Monday evening, the Macarthur District Football Referees Association (MDFRA) have instructed Game Leaders and Match Officials to ๐š๐›๐š๐ง๐๐จ๐ง ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ , should they be the subject of inappropriate sideline behaviour. This action has the full support of the MFA. The behaviour from the sideline is creating a negative participant experience for many and is simply not aligned with the culture of our sport. We expect ๐๐Ž ๐‚๐Ž๐Œ๐Œ๐„๐๐“๐’ directed towards Game Leaders and Match Officials from the sideline โ€“ it is as simple as that.Encourage your teams and support the game. Let the players play, let the coaches coach, and let the officials officiate. Do not be the reason why your son or daughterโ€™s game was abandoned.
